As the June shoot approaches I would like to thank all who have come out and enjoyed this years tournaments. We have continued to be blessed with good attendance and pray that this is a testimony of our club. Thank you to all who have helped this year and we look forward to more participation. I encourage all of us to use the new signs and topical questions to help spur on discussion in our groups. Hopefully June will have good weather high scores. Until then may God bless each of you and your families.

BUSINESS * We are currently looking for individuals who feel a calling to be in a leadership role or willing to help support the club by volunteering with setup, take down, or working the table. If you help, you get to shoot for free and are serving the Lord as well. *The Board meets monthly from January through August. You are welcome to come and join us at the meetings. Call Bryan White, and he will inform you when and where the meeting will take place.
AS OF THE MARCH SHOOT, YOU MUST BE CURRENT ON ALL YOUR DUES/FEES FOR 2008 IN ORDER TO COUNT YOUR PREVIOUS SCORES TOWARDS THE POINTS RACE.
* 3 OUT OF 6 SHOOTS PLUS THE CBG STATE CHAMPIONSHIP (AUGUST 23) WILL COUNT TOWARDS THE POINTS RACE.
* A TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED IN EACH CLASS FOR THE HIGHEST POINTS IN JANUARY 2009 AT THE AWARDS BANQUET
* A TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE BIGGEST BUCK KILLED WITH A BOW - GROSS P&Y (GA KILLED)
* A TROPHY WILL BE AWARDED FOR BIGGEST OUT-OF-STATE BUCK (BOW KILLED) - P&Y GROSS
* ALL BUCKS MUST BE FOUND WITHIN 36 HOURS OF SHOT!!

SHOOTING SCHEDULES
CBG 2008 SCHEDULE (DATE CHANGE IN AUGUST)

April 26 Bass Tournament

August 23 (CBG State Championship)
Since we DO NOT have a shoot in April we are going to try something new. We will be having our first CBG Bass Tournament. IT WILL NOT BE HELD AT THE PLANTATION. The date will be April 26th and the location will be Jackson Lake and launch from Berry's Boat Dock Marina. Times will be from 1st light till 3:00 p.m. Cost is $40 a boat for 2 man team. Singles fishing in boat - 1 man team is $30. There will be a seperate $10 big fish pot and parking will be $5. Total boat weight will be used at weigh in and fish must be alive. Pay back will be same as Archery rule. 1-5 1st place pay out. 6-9 2nd place pay out. 10 boats and over 3rd place pay out. ELIGIBILITY - One person in the boat must either be a present or past member of CBG and the other person must have shot in at least 1 2008 cbg archery tournament.
